Our team are deeply committed to giving back to our community, and this year we are thrilled to have raised £3,500 in support of Leeds Baby Bank, a local charity that is making a profound impact on the lives of families in need.
Leeds Baby Bank is a lifeline for many families in our region, offering essential support to those facing hardship. Founded by the inspirational Ellie, the organization provides vital supplies to families with young children who are struggling to make ends meet. From nappies and baby formula to clothing and toiletries, Leeds Baby Bank ensures that no parent has to worry about meeting their baby’s basic needs.
Ellie and her dedicated team work tirelessly to deliver these essential items to families who are referred to them by health visitors, social workers, and other professionals. Their efforts go beyond just providing physical goods; they offer a sense of hope and security to families during what can be an incredibly stressful and vulnerable time.
Our fundraising partnership started with a simple idea: to support an organization that is making a real difference in our community and we are proud to have raised £3,500 following our teams sponsored walk around Ullswater Way.
The Ullswater Way consists of a 20 mile hike following lakeside paths, woodland trails and ridgeline footpaths, all with spectacular views across the lake and surrounding fells.
This donation will go a long way in helping Leeds Baby Bank continue their critical work, ensuring that more families receive the support they need during difficult times.
